Details Of Kiir Meeting With Taban Deng Amid Tensions

South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir on Wednesday held a crucial meeting with Vice President Taban Deng Gai, signaling a possible easing of tensions following recent complaints over restricted access to the presidency.

The meeting, which also included Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs Tut Gatluak Manime, focused on reviewing the status of major infrastructure projects and addressing persistent implementation challenges across the country.

According to an official statement, discussions centered on road construction efforts and the bottlenecks slowing progress.
